We are Mohon Silver.
My wife and I are a silversmithing and engraving team tucked away in the pine-covered hills of Arkansaw. Morgan cuts all of our beautiful stones and brings my strange ideas and designs to life, while I engrave scrolls into just about everything I can get my hands on. Most days are spent in the shop with the smell of woods in the air and a toddler underfoot.
We live and work right here in the foothills, building everything out of our little studio surrounded by timber and quiet. It’s a good place to focus, to make mistakes and to figure things out as we go. That said, we’re getting ready to step out of the woods a bit—there’s a storefront in Conway on the horizon and we’re looking forward to having a place where folks can come see the work in person!
Over the last year or so we’ve transitioned mainly into wedding bands, but we’ll always have a deep love for traditional turquoise jewelry.
She’s the brains of the outfit, and I’m the mouthpiece—we make a pretty good team.
This feels like a good start to sharing a little more of the personal side of our maker lives out here in the hills. Hope y’all enjoy following along.
